Heck, I backup the my games folder and frown at the other games that are not in there, what were they thinking when they decided to clutter up my documents folder with game save folders? I have played on two PCs and had no issues, but I read the horror stories and manually backup my saves, oh so hard on a PC to go to documents\my games and just copy and paste the Borderlands 2 folder to another location. The people who lose things this way spaz and click rather than read and think. If you have been playing on PC A, when you play on PC B, you will use what is on the cloud, it even shows the date and time of the saves so you can decide. Therefore manual saving seem's to be the best choice.but you must know excactly and in detail what U R doing otherwise you also loose your game progress.and I personally find the save system of this game NOT user friendly.
And as so many ppl complained in this forum about losing valuable equipment and characters it seems that it doesn't matter the choice you make to save the game.because Steam Cloud is highly unreliable and will not save anything.
